The Toad Patrol do a wonderful job ensuring as many as possible of these small amphibians survive the hazardous journey across Old Goyts Lane from their habitat to their spawning ground.

Birds of the Valley
I’d love to discover more about the flora and fauna that can be found in the Goyt Valley. I know the valley attracts quite a few bird-watchers. So birds seemed the obvious place to start.
Anyone seen a puma?
Alan asks whether anyone has seen a puma in the Valley. I seem to remember someone saying they’d seen one a few years back. I think it was more likely to be a large feral cat. But who knows?
