Walk 17 along Foxlow Edge starts from a small lay-by on the old Roman road known as ‘The Street’. It passes St. Joseph’s Shrine (above), and includes some wonderful panoramic views.
I’ve just added the video for walk 17: a short, 1.5 mile circular stroll along Foxlow Edge, returning along the narrow footpath which runs between the ruins of Errwood Hall to St. Joseph’s Shrine.

It’s now nearly two years since I recorded the walk, back in August 2016. I hadn’t realised it had been so long, but creating the videos is a bit of a brain-ache for me, so I tend to put them on one side until I feel it’s time to gird my loins and get on with it!

The walk is one of the shortest on the website, but it’s also one of my favourites as the views from Foxlow Edge are stunning, and St Joseph’s Shrine is always worth a visit.
